1. Unplanned Absence Policy
At IntelliPaths, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. If a student is unable to attend a scheduled session due to illness or another unforeseen event, the following applies:
- Parents/guardians must notify IntelliPaths as soon as possible, preferably at least 24 hours in advance when feasible.
- Missed sessions due to illness or emergencies may be rescheduled based on availability, but this is not guaranteed.
- Absences without prior notification will not be eligible for a make-up session or refund.
- If a student is absent for three consecutive sessions without notice, their enrollment may be subject to review.
2. Code of Behavior
To ensure a respectful and productive learning environment, all students are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Respect for Others: Students must be courteous and respectful toward tutors, staff, and fellow students. Bullying, inappropriate language, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Active Participation: Students are expected to come prepared for their sessions, complete assignments, and engage in learning activities.
- Punctuality: Students must arrive on time for scheduled sessions. Repeated tardiness may result in dismissal from the program.
- Respect for Property: Any damage to IntelliPaths’ materials, equipment, or facility due to negligence may result in the student/family being held responsible for repair or replacement costs.
- Dress Code: Students should wear appropriate attire conducive to a learning environment.
Failure to adhere to the Code of Behavior may result in warnings, parent consultations, temporary suspension, or dismissal from IntelliPaths programs.
3. Safety Policy
The safety of our students is our top priority. To ensure a secure learning environment:
- Students must be signed in and out by a parent or authorized guardian unless written permission is provided for independent arrival and departure.
- Parents/guardians must provide updated emergency contact information.
- IntelliPaths has a zero-tolerance policy for violence, harassment, or threats of any kind.
- In case of an emergency, IntelliPaths staff will follow safety protocols, including contacting emergency services and notifying parents immediately.
- IntelliPaths is not responsible for students outside of scheduled session times. Parents must ensure timely pickup of their child.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Student-Initiated Cancellations:
- If a student withdraws from a program at least 5 business days before the start date, a full refund will be issued.
- If a student withdraws within 5 business days of the program start, a 80% refund will be provided.
- No refunds will be issued after the program has started, except in cases of medical emergencies (with documentation).
- Session Cancellations by IntelliPaths:
- If a session is canceled by IntelliPaths (e.g., due to tutor unavailability or unforeseen circumstances), the session will be rescheduled or credited.
- Missed Sessions:
- Missed sessions without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Make-up sessions are subject to availability and must be arranged within the same month as the missed session.
- Refund Processing:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days through the original payment method.
